Florida Licensed RN Coding Liaison

Job Summary

To support optimal reimbursement and compliance, the full-time Florida Licensed RN Coding Liaison will educate clinical staff on documentation practices, manage training for Coding and CDI teams, and evaluate coding discrepancies while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Educate clinical staff on documentation importance and coding guidelines to ensure optimal reimbursement
• Train new and existing Coding and CDI team members, and evaluate their performance for coaching opportunities
• Collaborate with Coding and CDI staff to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with industry standards

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Management, or Business
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an RN in an acute clinical setting
• At least 5 years of inpatient coding experience in an acute care hospital
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
