Florida Licensed RN Triage Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing telehealth initiative, the full-time Florida Licensed RN Triage Specialist will manage incoming patient phone calls, providing clinical decision support and education regarding acute pain, wound care, and post-operative management, all while working remotely Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Key responsibilities

• Effectively triage patient phone calls related to acute pain, wound care, and symptom assessment
• Provide detailed clinical instruction and decision support exclusively via phone
• Utilize Epic electronic medical records and Microsoft Office for documentation and communication

Required qualifications

• Current RN license in the State of Florida
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Three years of clinical experience in specialty or five years covering multiple service lines
• Previous experience with EPIC electronic medical records required
• Current BLS certification
