Job Summary
Managing a team of hub accountants, the full-time Florida Licensed Senior Accounting Manager will oversee the accounting for internally developed software, fixed assets, and leases, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and supporting the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee accounting for internally developed software projects, including capitalization assessments and cost tracking
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP standards, particularly ASC 350-40, ASC 360, and ASC 842
- Manage and mentor a team, providing training and performance feedback while driving process improvements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in public accounting or within a medium to large international organization
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, particularly in software, fixed assets, and lease accounting
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP or OneStream, and familiarity with lease accounting tools
