Florida Licensed Senior Claims Specialist

Job Summary

Managing a portfolio of moderately complex property and casualty claims, the full-time Florida Licensed Senior Claims Specialist will investigate, evaluate, and resolve claims while ensuring compliance and delivering superior customer service in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle claims from intake to resolution, conducting thorough investigations and analyzing relevant documentation
• Negotiate settlements within authority limits while maintaining cost control and fairness
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies while providing responsive communication to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field is preferred
• 2-4 years of relevant claims handling experience with knowledge of property and casualty insurance principles
• Appropriate state adjuster license(s) required or the ability to obtain within a specified timeframe
• Experience with claims management systems and standard office software
• Industry certifications such as Associate in Claims (AIC) or CPCU coursework are preferred but not mandatory
