Florida Licensed Senior Legal Counsel

Job Summary

Serving as a trusted legal advisor, the full-time Florida Licensed Senior Legal Counsel will manage complex commercial and technology transactions, negotiate agreements, and lead cross-functional deal teams in a hybrid work environment based in Miami, FL or Dallas, TX.

Key responsibilities

• Lead legal support for high-value transactions involving airline customers and technology partners, managing the entire transaction lifecycle
• Structure and draft sophisticated agreements, including SaaS, outsourcing, and software licensing contracts
• Serve as a strategic advisor to various stakeholders, translating complex legal issues into actionable recommendations

Required qualifications

• University degree in law (JD, LLB, or LLM) and qualification to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Minimum of 8 years of post-qualification legal experience, including significant lead counsel experience in commercial and technology transactions
• Strong understanding of commercial contracting principles and technology business models, with experience in the airline or SaaS sectors
• High level of skill in contract structuring and expert negotiation capability across complex transactions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard legal technology tools, with full professional proficiency in English
