Florida Licensed Senior Program Manager
Job Summary
To support a premier Florida state agency, the full-time Florida Licensed Senior Program Manager will lead enterprise-level technical initiatives, coordinate multi-disciplinary project teams, and ensure successful deployment of mission-critical systems and software enhancements in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive project management oversight for complex technical and IT initiatives, guiding projects through all phases of the system development lifecycle
- Build and maintain detailed project plans and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) to ensure on-time, within-scope delivery
- Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams, fostering high performance and accountability while facilitating seamless communication across stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Current, active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in leading complex technical projects and cross-functional teams
- Experience developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans, critical paths, and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project or comparable enterprise project management tools
- Experience preparing and presenting detailed status reports tailored for executives and legislative bodies
