Job Summary
To support a growing closed-door pharmacy, the full-time Florida Licensed Staff Pharmacist will verify prescriptions, provide patient counseling via phone, and collaborate with prescribers to enhance medication safety and access while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Review and clinically verify new and refill prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
- Provide proactive patient counseling through phone interactions regarding medication education and adherence
- Collaborate with prescribers to clarify prescriptions and manage therapeutic substitutions
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy
- Active Florida Pharmacy License in good standing
- Strong command of the English language; bilingual Spanish preferred
- Demonstrated ability to perform high-volume prescription verification with attention to detail
- Strong technical aptitude for pharmacy management systems and internal workflow tools
