Job Summary
To support a growing telehealth practice, the part-time Florida Licensed Supervising Psychiatrist will establish supervisory protocols for nurse practitioners, conduct regular consultations, and provide clinical support remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Establish written supervisory protocols with nurse practitioners regarding scope of practice and prescribing parameters
- Conduct regular video or phone meetings with each NP to review care quality and provide feedback
- Be available for clinical consultations during NP practice hours and arrange alternate coverage when necessary
Required qualifications
- MD or DO with an active, unrestricted Florida medical license
- No history of disciplinary action
- Comfortable supporting telehealth practices with an older adult population
- Current malpractice coverage that includes supervision
