To support surgical operations, the full-time Florida Licensed Surgical Scheduler will manage patient scheduling for surgeries, complete necessary paperwork, and coordinate with medical staff while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Schedules patients for surgery and completes facility paperwork with minimal call transfers
- Maintains and updates hospital schedules through various communication methods
- Prepares advance surgical schedules and reviews information affecting schedule administration
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in a healthcare setting
- 1+ year of technical experience preferred
- 1+ year of Electronic Health Record (EHR) scheduling experience preferred
- Basic Life Support - CPR Certification (BLS) preferred
