Florida Licensed Surveillance Investigator

Job Summary

To support a growing investigative team, the part-time Florida Licensed Surveillance Investigator will conduct stationary and mobile surveillance for insurance claims, documenting findings and working flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, in a fully remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct fraud investigations, including video surveillance, recorded statements, and witness locates
• Document all investigation results with detailed reports and video evidence on a daily basis
• Work unusual hours and travel as needed, including weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight stays

Required qualifications

• Current PI license with the ability to obtain licenses in other states
• 5+ years of experience in a related investigative field preferred
• Possession of a reliable surveillance vehicle, video camera, covert camera, and laptop with Windows OS
• Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe
• Background in military, law enforcement, or insurance investigations is a plus
