To support a regional CPA firm, the full-time Florida Licensed Tax Manager will oversee tax compliance and planning, manage complex tax returns for various entities, and provide strategic consulting services, with the opportunity to work remotely up to one day per week.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services to clients across various industries
- Maintain client relationships and manage a portfolio of clients
- Research and resolve complex tax issues while staying current on tax law changes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's in Taxation preferred
- 6+ years of public accounting tax experience with a CPA
- Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in tax software (CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx) and Microsoft Office
