Florida Licensed Therapy Director

Job Summary

Overseeing multiple facility rehabilitation programs, the full-time Florida Licensed Therapy Director will mentor Directors of Rehabilitation, ensure compliance with best practices and regulations, and implement new programs while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor and orient Directors of Rehabilitation and staff to optimize patient utilization and treatment plans
• Monitor compliance with company policies, Medicare guidelines, and state practice acts through chart reviews and operational assessments
• Support facilities in achieving survey excellence and assist with mock surveys, state licensing surveys, and corrective action plans

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Language Pathology; advanced degrees preferred
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Therapist in Florida
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software, such as SharePoint, Net Health, and Point Click Care
• Requires RAC-CT Credential within 1 year of hire
• Prior regional experience preferred
