Florida Licensed Triage Nurse

Job Summary

To support a growing oncology practice, the full-time Florida Licensed Triage Nurse will provide individualized care and clinical guidance to patients and families, triaging calls related to treatment and appointment information while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Triaging oncology patient calls and providing symptom management to minimize emergency department visits
• Facilitating communication among the multidisciplinary cancer care team to ensure coordinated patient care
• Offering ongoing education and resources to patients and caregivers regarding treatment and clinical issues

Required qualifications

• Registered Nurse multistate or Florida single state licensure required
• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Three years or more of experience as an RN, with at least two years in oncology
• Certification as an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred
• Strong telephonic assessment and communication skills
