Job Summary
To provide telephonic support to patients and families, the part-time Florida Licensed Triage RN will triage phone calls, offer advice, and ensure accurate documentation of patient information while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Triages phone calls and addresses callers' needs efficiently using excellent customer service skills
- Provides telephone advice and education for patient needs, coordinating in-person visits when necessary
- Accurately enters data into electronic medical records and communicates with the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG)
Required qualifications:
- Current Florida RN license
- Minimum of one (1) year nursing experience; hospice or hospital experience preferred
- Previous experience with an EMR/EHR system
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage emotional stress related to caring for terminally ill patients
- Proficiency in MS Office software applications and strong data entry skills
