Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare team, the full-time Florida Licensed UM Coordinator will manage authorizations for services, liaise between financial counselors and business office staff, and ensure compliance with insurance verification processes in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between financial counselors and business office staff, providing support to the Intake Department
• Obtain authorizations for internal services from patients' PCPs and managed care companies
• Review daily schedules for potential issues related to patient insurance coverage limitations

Required qualifications

• At least one year of experience in insurance verification, billing, and collections in a medical office or hospital setting
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented and self-starter
