Florida Licensed Utilization Review Nurse
Job Summary
To support clients in the healthcare industry, the remote Florida Licensed Utilization Review Nurse will conduct clinical assessments, coordinate patient care, and enhance revenue cycle efficiency through expert clinical guidance and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of medical records to ensure appropriate patient care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment plans and ensure cost-effective care
- Utilize clinical expertise to support revenue cycle processes, including coding and documentation improvement
Required Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required; must hold a USRN multi-state/compact nursing license
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or acute care setting
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in Utilization Review
- Strong understanding of revenue cycle management and healthcare reimbursement
