Job Summary
To advance strategic priorities in healthcare, the full-time Florida Licensed Vice President of Government Affairs will build and lead the Government Affairs & Public Policy function, shaping federal and multistate strategies while collaborating with senior leadership and external stakeholders in a remote capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead comprehensive federal and multistate government affairs strategies aligned with organizational objectives
- Proactively influence legislation and policy related to reimbursement, Medicare, Medicaid, and healthcare reforms
- Represent the organization in Washington, D.C., and state markets, building bipartisan relationships with key policymakers and stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in government affairs, public policy, or advocacy within the healthcare sector
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, JD, PhD) preferred
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing government affairs strategies in a regulated environment
- Deep expertise in U.S. healthcare policy, including Medicare and Medicaid
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams and collaborate across a complex organization
