Job Summary

To support a growing claims administration team, the full-time remote Workers' Compensation Excess/SDF Claims Specialist will manage the submission of excess reports and pursue SDF claims while ensuring compliance with company and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with clients and insurance agents to maintain necessary excess insurance documentation for open claims
• Provide timely notifications to clients' excess carriers and ensure all claims meeting excess criteria are reported professionally
• Evaluate files for SDF potential, pursue claims for reimbursement, and maintain communication with relevant stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• 1-2 years of claims-handling experience in Florida Workers' Compensation law
• Active Adjuster license (FL 5-24 or 5-20/6-20)
• Working knowledge of Workers' Compensation claims and state-specific statutes
• 1-2 years of office experience
• Proficiency in claims and business software
