Job Summary

Seeking an ambitious and competitive Money, Power & Influence Reporter for a full-time remote position, who will produce exclusive accountability journalism covering the intersections of politics, business, and development in South Florida, while cultivating high-level sources and delivering compelling stories that resonate with a broad audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Break exclusive stories involving government, business, and influential decision-makers
• Track major real estate and development projects, following the financial implications
• Investigate campaign spending and analyze public records to produce accountability journalism

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3-5 years of reporting experience, preferably in business or accountability journalism
• Demonstrated ability to break news and produce exclusive enterprise reporting
• Strong source-building and interviewing skills
• Experience with public records, databases, and financial documents
