Florida or North Carolina Loan Officer Assistant
Job Summary
Supporting a Loan Officer, the fully remote Loan Officer Assistant for Florida or North Carolina will communicate with borrowers, assist with loan applications, and manage documentation while working East Coast hours.
Key responsibilities
- Support one assigned Loan Officer by communicating directly with borrowers during the initial mortgage process
- Assist with mortgage loan applications and collect necessary borrower documentation
- Maintain organization and follow-up on loan files to ensure timely processing and closing
Required qualifications
- Active MLO license required, with Florida and/or North Carolina licensing strongly preferred
- Mortgage origination experience is required
- Experience working directly with mortgage borrowers
- Ability to assist with loan applications and documentation
- Comfortable performing some mortgage processing responsibilities
