Florida Patient Access Representative

Job Summary

To support a growing orthopedic practice, the full-time Patient Access Representative I - Scheduling will manage patient registration and scheduling in a remote call center environment, ensuring compliance with physician protocols and company policies.

Key responsibilities:

• Register new patients by obtaining demographics, insurance information, and referral sources
• Handle scheduling requests according to physician and authorization protocols
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while performing additional assigned duties

Required qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare environment
• Experience with registration, scheduling, and healthcare benefits is preferred
• Proficiency in a Windows-based computer environment and typing skills
• Ability to manage high call volumes and multi-task effectively
