Job Summary

Fluent in both Foochow and English, the contracted Foochow Remote Interpreter will facilitate communication between speakers of the two languages while working remotely, ensuring accuracy and professionalism in a flexible environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Answer calls professionally and adhere to the interpreter's code of conduct
• Utilize industry-specific vocabulary, particularly in healthcare and medical terminology
• Participate in internal professional training and report to the team leader

Required qualifications:

• Fluency in English and Foochow
• Minimum of 2 years of interpretation experience
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills for high accuracy
• Ability to convey concepts accurately according to established interpretation protocols
• Capability to explain cultural concepts to prevent miscommunication when necessary
