Food Labeling Regulatory Specialist

Job Summary

Independently reviewing and approving FDA-regulated food labeling and packaging artwork, the full-time Food Labeling Regulatory Specialist will ensure compliance with labeling requirements while coordinating multiple projects in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve product specifications and packaging artwork for regulatory accuracy
• Evaluate Nutrition Facts panels and ingredient declarations for compliance with FDA requirements
• Coordinate labeling revisions and communicate necessary corrections to stakeholders and suppliers

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two years of experience in FDA-regulated packaged food labeling and compliance reviews
• Hands-on experience reviewing food product specifications and packaging labels
• Ability to identify labeling compliance issues and document approval decisions
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other business systems for tracking reviews and approvals
