Forward Deploy Engineer
Job Summary
Serving as the central technical liaison for customers, the remote Forward Deploy Engineer will lead the implementation of API connections, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful integration while working closely with partner success and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide new and existing customers through the technical implementation process from kickoff to go-live, ensuring seamless integration
- Monitor and troubleshoot API configurations independently, utilizing tools like Postman to resolve issues without engineering support
- Document integration processes and customer interactions clearly to build a reliable internal knowledge base
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical support or implementation role, particularly with API-driven applications
- Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, JSON payloads, and HTTP status codes, with the ability to read logs and documentation
- Familiarity with data mapping, payload structures, or basic scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or SQL
- Experience using troubleshooting tools like HubSpot or Postman for API testing and support
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical users effectively
