Forward Deployed Engineer
Job Summary
Acting as a bridge between customers, sales, and engineering, the full-time Forward Deployed Engineer will engage with healthcare providers to understand their needs, translate them into product requirements, and implement customer-specific changes while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Support customer relationships post-sale by acting as a technical point of contact and troubleshooting issues
- Translate stakeholder needs into product features by collaborating with sales, clinical operations, and engineering teams
- Ship customer-specific changes by writing and modifying strategy files and implementing small features end-to-end
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in a role combining engineering with cross-functional or customer-facing work
- Proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js for feature shipping, debugging, and PR reviews
- Strong track record of identifying product gaps from stakeholder conversations
- Self-directed with the ability to work across teams with minimal oversight
- Experience in roles such as solutions engineer, implementation engineer, or technical customer success manager
