Forward Deployed Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a contract-to-hire basis, the Forward Deployed Engineer will act as the primary technical point of contact for customer deployments and integrations, leveraging software development and cloud engineering skills to deliver solutions in a federal environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as the main technical liaison for customer deployments and solution delivery
- Collaborate with customer teams to understand workflows and operational challenges
- Design and develop software solutions using cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
- Strong hands-on development experience with languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Proficiency with cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience in customer-facing roles, gathering requirements and delivering solutions
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, including tools like Terraform and Ansible
