Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Summary

Embedding directly with clients, the full-time remote Forward Deployed Engineer will build and deliver AI systems for financial institutions, ensuring compliance and integration with existing systems while managing a workstream from problem identification to solution handoff.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver dependable AI solutions that meet client requirements and maintain functionality post-handoff
• Manage a workstream from understanding client needs to delivering a documented solution
• Integrate AI systems with existing client infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation without ongoing support

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience shipping production software, preferably with LLM and agentic systems
• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript, with experience in major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience integrating with complex real-world systems and data
• Ability to communicate effectively with client engineers and collaborate directly with them
• Preferred experience in banking, lending, or payments, particularly with risk and compliance processes
