Forward Deployed Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Forward Deployed Engineer will serve as the primary technical liaison between the GenAI delivery team and higher education institutions, focusing on solution scoping, delivery backlog management, and ensuring technical compliance with institutional requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical discovery with client stakeholders to translate institutional pain points into deliverable use cases
- Build and maintain the delivery backlog, prioritizing client requirements and ensuring alignment with technical capabilities
- Identify technical compliance and risk factors early in the solution design process to maintain client trust and delivery timelines
Required Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience scoping and delivering GenAI solutions for enterprise or institutional clients, preferably with the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform
- Familiarity with cloud data, compute, and compliance concepts relevant to AI solution design
- Experience in a client-facing technical role, such as solutions engineering or technical consulting, delivering AI/ML solutions
- Higher education or SLED domain experience strongly preferred
- Ability to translate ambiguous client requirements into a structured delivery backlog
