Forward Deployed Engineer
Job Summary
Owning solution design and implementation for the Identity Resolution (IDR) product, the remote Forward Deployed Engineer will work closely with clients to understand their data architecture, set up deployments, debug issues, and advise on long-term data strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers to design IDR rules and data models based on their use cases
- Debug customer issues by writing SQL queries and analyzing server logs to resolve discrepancies
- Communicate technical details and product behavior to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Required qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in analytics engineering, solutions engineering, or a similar role at a data infrastructure or B2B SaaS company
- Fluency in SQL, with experience in Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery
- Strong systems thinking and understanding of identity graphs at scale
- Proven consultative communication skills for running discovery calls and explaining technical concepts
- Systematic debugging mindset with the ability to form hypotheses and document findings
