Forward Deployed Engineer
Job Summary
Owning the architecture and delivery of AI-assisted software solutions, the full-time Forward Deployed Engineer will engage directly with customers to translate their needs into technical specifications, validate solutions, and ensure successful deployment in a Federal production environment.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in requirements capture and define the technical scope for fixed-price engagements
- Convert customer requirements into specifications and architectural decisions to enable AI-assisted development
- Lead production integration and ensure accountability through deployment and customer acceptance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 6+ years of professional software delivery experience
- Experience in building complete solutions using AI coding tools like Claude Code, Codex, or Copilot
- Demonstrated ownership of enterprise-scale software delivery, including production integration and post-launch stabilization
- Strong systems-design judgment and fluency across software development, project delivery, and security
- US citizenship and eligibility for a Secret clearance
