Forward Deployed Engineer
Job Summary
Building and deploying AI agents for major moving companies, the full-time Forward Deployed Engineer will work remotely to understand customer operations, implement AI workflows, and write production code while ensuring reliable agent performance in complex environments.
Key responsibilities
- Build and enhance AI agents by writing production code and improving their capabilities and integrations
- Own enterprise AI deployments, collaborating with customers from initial configuration to production rollout and optimization
- Design and implement AI workflows that translate business processes into effective agent behavior and tool integrations
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of building and maintaining production software
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language and familiarity with APIs, databases, and backend systems
- Experience with AI technologies, including LLM APIs and agent workflows, and understanding of reliability challenges in nondeterministic systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with a product-oriented mindset, capable of designing scalable solutions
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and translate business requirements into technical solutions
