Job Summary
To support modernization initiatives, the contract Forward Deployed Engineer will design and develop infrastructure automation solutions, build Infrastructure-as-Code, and improve platform reliability while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop infrastructure automation solutions using modern software engineering practices
- Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code and configuration management for standardized provisioning and operations
- Develop APIs and integrations to connect infrastructure systems and enable automated workflows
Required qualifications
- 6-9 years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or infrastructure automation
- Strong hands-on development skills with Java and Python
- Experience building Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform
- Experience with configuration management and automation using Ansible
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and systems integration via APIs
