Forward Deployed Product Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time, remote Forward Deployed Product Manager, the successful candidate will manage customer-embedded discovery and product ownership for state government initiatives, ensuring effective implementation and adoption of digital identity solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Work directly with state government partners to understand user needs and provide product advisory support
• Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, shaping roadmaps and priorities in collaboration with engineering and design teams
• Conduct hands-on user research to inform product decisions and drive adoption of digital credentials across the ecosystem

Required qualifications

• 6-10+ years of product experience, preferably in startups or new product initiatives
• Experience in education, workforce development, or a similar sector
• Proven track record of conducting user research and translating findings into actionable product strategies
• Strong technical understanding of APIs, services, and system design
• Ability to navigate government relationships and communicate effectively with executive stakeholders
