Founding Data Scientist

Job Summary

As the founding Data Scientist in a full-time remote position, the candidate will own the research agenda, build algorithms for hormone tracking, and translate complex data into actionable insights for a consumer app.

Key responsibilities

• Build and enhance biometrics, algorithms, and data-driven insights for the Mira App
• Analyze hormone and user data to identify patterns and product opportunities
• Develop and validate models for ovulation prediction and personalized recommendations

Required qualifications

• Strong Python and data science skills; experience with SQL and health-related data
• Experience with model interpretability methods such as SHAP and LIME
• Proven ability to translate data into user-facing product features and recommendations
• Experience in building models or analytical frameworks that influenced decisions
• Strong judgment in model validation and handling missing data
