Founding Data Scientist

Job Summary

As the founding Data Scientist, this full-time remote position will own the research agenda, building production-ready algorithms and analyzing complex hormonal data to enhance women's reproductive health through the Mira App.

Key responsibilities

• Build and improve biometrics, algorithms, and data-driven insights for the Mira App
• Analyze hormone, cycle, app behavior, and user outcome data to identify patterns and product opportunities
• Develop and validate models for ovulation prediction, cycle modeling, and personalized recommendations

Required qualifications

• Strong Python and data science skills; SQL preferred with experience in health or biomarker data
• Experience using model interpretability and explainability methods like SHAP and LIME
• Ability to translate data into user-facing product features and recommendations
• Experience building models or analytical frameworks that influenced product or business decisions
• High ownership and comfort working with ambiguity in a startup environment
