Founding Data Scientist

Job Summary

As the founding Data Scientist in a full-time remote position, the successful candidate will own the research agenda, building algorithms and data-driven insights for the Mira App to enhance women's hormonal health.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and improve biometrics, algorithms, and data-driven insights for the Mira App
• Analyze hormone, cycle, and user outcome data to identify patterns and product opportunities
• Develop and validate models for ovulation prediction and personalized recommendations

Required qualifications:

• Strong Python and data science skills; SQL preferred
• Experience with model interpretability methods such as SHAP and LIME
• Ability to translate data into user-facing product features and recommendations
• Experience building models that influenced product or clinical decisions
• High ownership and comfort working with ambiguity in a startup environment
