Job Summary
As the founding member of the data science function, the full-time remote Founding Data Scientist will own the research agenda, building algorithms and analyzing complex hormonal data to enhance the Mira App and improve women's reproductive health.
Key responsibilities
- Build and enhance biometrics, algorithms, and data-driven insights for the Mira App
- Analyze hormone, cycle, and user outcome data to identify patterns and product opportunities
- Develop and validate models for ovulation prediction and personalized recommendations
Required qualifications
- Strong Python and data science skills; SQL preferred with experience in health or biomarker data
- Experience with model interpretability methods such as SHAP and LIME
- Ability to translate data into user-facing product features and recommendations
- Experience in building models that influenced product or clinical decisions
- Strong ownership and comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment
