Founding Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support various portfolio companies, the full-time Founding Security Engineer will design and operate security infrastructure, manage key security systems, and collaborate with engineering teams to address security risks in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and operate security infrastructure across cloud, network, and production environments
• Build and manage PKI, IAM, secrets management, and access control systems
• Implement security monitoring, incident response processes, and manage penetration testing

Required qualifications

• Strong experience in building or operating production security systems
• Deep understanding of network, infrastructure, cloud, or application security
• Experience with PKI, IAM, HSMs, KMS, and zero-trust architecture
• Ability to manage security projects end-to-end and collaborate with engineering teams
• Experience responding to incidents and managing security audits
