Job Summary
Seeking a Founding Software Engineer to lead the development of a new browser-based 3D creative tool, this remote contractor position will focus on defining the MVP, evaluating existing prototypes, and establishing the product's architecture while collaborating closely with the Head of Product.
Key responsibilities
- Define the MVP and rapidly prototype potential approaches
- Design the architecture and build the foundation for the initial product
- Provide technical and architectural leadership while remaining a hands-on contributor
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated ability
- Strong experience with web-based game development and real-time 3D technologies
- Professional Unity/game development experience
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly prototype and evaluate competing technologies
- Experience with AI-assisted development
