Fractional CFO

Job Summary

Partnering with small and mid-sized business owners, the full-time salaried Fractional CFO will provide strategic financial leadership remotely, focusing on improving profitability, cash flow, and operational efficiency for approximately 30 law firms.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the direct financial partner and advisor to business owners, reviewing financial statements and identifying profitability opportunities
• Build forecasts, budgets, cash flow strategies, and KPI dashboards that owners can utilize effectively
• Collaborate with owners on pricing, margin improvement, and strategic growth decisions while fostering long-term relationships

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a CFO directly advising small to mid-sized businesses with revenues of $1M-$35M
• Proven track record of hands-on financial advisory work with business owners on pricing, margin improvement, and cash flow strategies
• Experience managing multiple client relationships simultaneously in a CFO or similar advisory role
• Strong skills in financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional leadership experience
