Fraud Operations Director

Job Summary

To establish and lead a centralized fraud operations function, the full-time Director of Fraud Operations will design governance frameworks, manage fraud investigations, and develop a high-performing team while collaborating with key stakeholders to mitigate fraud losses and enhance customer protection.

• Design and implement the centralized fraud operating model and governance procedures
• Lead fraud investigations, mitigation efforts, and case management operations
• Build and develop a high-performing fraud operations team while overseeing performance management and operational effectiveness

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in fraud operations or risk management within the financial services industry
• Strong background in designing and implementing fraud prevention strategies and governance frameworks
• Experience in leading teams and managing cross-functional collaborations
• Familiarity with banking regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act requirements
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to develop performance metrics and executive reporting
