Fraud & Risk Investigator

Job Summary

To enhance player safety and platform integrity, the remote contract Fraud & Risk Associate will investigate fraud, abuse, and account security incidents, focusing on refund abuse, exploits, and compromised accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate refund and chargeback abuse, identifying patterns across accounts and payment methods
• Handle account takeover cases, ensuring proper containment and recovery support for affected players
• Document investigation findings and escalate significant cases with organized evidence for further review

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in fraud investigation, risk analysis, or a related field
• Fluency in English and Portuguese, with strong written communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
• Comfort with transaction data, logs, and account histories
• Genuine interest in games and understanding of player community dynamics
