Fraud Strategy Specialist

Job Summary

Owning the end-to-end fraud strategy for a new card issuance program, the full-time remote Fraud Strategy Specialist will design authorization decisioning, monitor fraud health against network thresholds, and translate vendor responsibilities into operational controls.

Key responsibilities

• Own fraud strategy for the card issuance program from pre-launch risk assessment through post-launch monitoring
• Translate infrastructure partner responsibilities into an operating decisioning model for authorization and fraud controls
• Design and manage authorization decisioning for card transactions, focusing on product and action-based controls

Required qualifications

• 4-7+ years in fraud/risk strategy with hands-on experience in card authorization decisioning
• Working knowledge of card network mechanics and fraud-monitoring programs
• Experience with BaaS/program-manager card issuing vendors
• Advanced SQL skills for independent querying and risk sizing
• Demonstrated bias toward product and action-based fraud controls over static rules
