Freelance Cold Weather Designer

Job Summary

To support a top fashion brand in NYC, the Freelance Cold Weather Accessory Designer will design and execute product lines based on provided direction, working remotely with potential onsite days, for a duration of over one month.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and execute product lines according to the design direction and line plan from the Senior Manager
• Create tech packs for overseas sample development while ensuring alignment with the brand's DNA
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining attention to deadlines and benchmarks

Required qualifications:

• 5 years of relevant experience in cold weather accessories design
• Strong technical understanding of cold weather accessories and the design and development process
• Proficiency in Adobe applications, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator
• Experience with CAD, including flat sketches and photo-real CADs
• Ability to juggle multiple projects with strong attention to detail and proper follow-up
