Job Summary

To create engaging dating and relationship content, the Freelance Content Creator will ideate, write, produce, and publish original material remotely on a project basis, collaborating closely with the editorial team to ensure brand consistency and cultural relevance.

Key responsibilities

• Write and publish original content, including captions and scripts, that aligns with Overheard's voice and modern dating themes
• Shoot, edit, and package short-form videos while maintaining a social-first production style
• Contribute fresh ideas for editorial posts and video formats during pitch meetings and collaborate with various teams

Required qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in editorial, social content creation, or a related creative field
• Exceptional writing skills with a comedic sensibility that aligns with Overheard's specific voice
• Deep familiarity with dating culture and modern relationship dynamics
• Proven ability to create social-first content across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
• Comfortable shooting and editing video using iPhone or consumer-grade equipment
