Freelance Mechanical CFD Engineer

Job Summary

To support AI training initiatives, the part-time Freelance Mechanical CFD Engineer will help evaluate AI agents on fluid simulation tasks by setting up simulations, building reference solutions, and writing Python checks, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Train and evaluate AI agents on expert-level fluid simulation tasks using CAD geometry
• Set up and run simulations, ensuring solid verification and validation practices
• Write Python checks to validate the results produced by AI agents

Required qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; a PhD is preferred
• Several years of hands-on industry or research experience with CFD tools such as OpenFOAM or ANSYS Fluent
• Experience with mesh-independence studies and validation against experimental data
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with GitHub
• English proficiency at B2 level or above
