Freelance Mechanical CFD Engineer
Job Summary
To support the training and evaluation of AI agents in fluid simulation tasks, the part-time Freelance Mechanical CFD Engineer will remotely set up and run simulations, create verified reference solutions, and develop Python checks for the agent's results.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and run fluid simulations using CAD geometry
- Build verified reference solutions and conduct verification and validation practices
- Write Python checks to evaluate the accuracy of the AI agent's results
Required qualifications
- A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; a PhD is preferred
- Several years of hands-on industry or research experience with CFD tools such as OpenFOAM or ANSYS Fluent
- Experience with mesh-independence studies and validation against experimental data
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with GitHub
- English proficiency at B2 level or above
