Job Summary
To support the training and evaluation of AI agents, the part-time Freelance Mechanical CFD Engineer will assist in fluid simulation tasks by setting up and running simulations, building verified reference solutions, and writing Python checks for results, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and run fluid simulations using CAD geometry
- Build verified reference solutions and conduct verification and validation practices
- Write Python checks to evaluate the AI agent's results
Required qualifications
- A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field; a PhD is preferred
- Several years of hands-on industry or research experience with CFD tools such as OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX, or STAR-CCM+
- Experience with mesh-independence studies and validation against experimental data
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with GitHub
- English proficiency at B2 level or above
