Job Summary

Seeking a part-time Freelance Social Editor for Complex Latin, this remote position will manage content creation and publishing across social platforms, focusing on U.S. Latino culture through timely stories and engaging bilingual copy.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily content creation and publishing for Complex Latin's social channels, including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
• Identify and execute timely stories and cultural conversations relevant to the audience, particularly in music, sports, and fashion
• Write, edit, and publish engaging social copy in both English and Spanish, adapting content for various platforms

Required qualifications

• 1-3+ years of experience in social media publishing or digital editorial, preferably with a media company or culturally relevant brand
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish, with strong writing skills in both languages
• Deep knowledge of U.S. Latino culture and its diverse communities
• Experience with major social platforms and content adaptation for each
• Proficiency in content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
