Job Summary

To engage global soccer fans, the Freelance Social Media Editor will develop and oversee the voice of Complex.FC across social platforms, create and publish content, and manage community engagement, all while working remotely on a part-time basis.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the editorial voice for Complex.FC on social media, tailoring content for soccer fans
• Create, curate, and publish engaging content, including match reactions and transfer news, across various social channels
• Manage community interactions and foster engagement through effective moderation and content promotion

Required qualifications

• 2-3 years of social media and editorial experience in a relevant field
• Deep understanding of soccer culture and major leagues, along with knowledge of how the sport intersects with pop culture
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Premiere Pro
• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to create engaging social media content
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends during major soccer events
